On one HH video I found, Powder Mantle activated 7 or so times during a hunt, which equaled to over 8% of damage done. Wind Mantle using Silkbind attacks boosts Wirebug Gauge recovery. It doesn't matter because the damage is still the same, and powder mantle doesn't buff those attack, anyway. Even hitting X 3 times in a simple combo.
